Find wildfire readiness events, workshops, and free community chipper days happening across Linn County.
Wildfire Ready Linn County hosts community events throughout the year to help homeowners and neighborhoods take practical steps toward wildfire readiness.
Events include free community chipper days, defensible space workshops, educational presentations, youth programs, and neighborhood outreach activities.
Have woody yard debris? Bring clean, manageable piles to one of our Community Chipper Days, and our fire crews will chip them for free. Chipping is an easy way to reduce wildfire fuels around your property while avoiding the risks of debris burning.
